Originally settled by Scottish and Irish immigrants, Blue Cliff is a place untouched by the outside world. The first town was founded in a holler deep in the forest where it remained until the mid-1800's. It was then that the community moved to what is now, present-day Blue Cliff. Surrounded by the Hickory Woods and with the picturesque Appalachian Mountains on its doorstep, it will feel like you've gone back in time.
